Those rostered for the entry table (typically 3) are to manage the entries, full and single day licences and race numbers. One of those rostered on for this position will take the responsibility as the Race Treasurer and will be the Club Treasurer's deputy on the day. They must account for all monies collected and paid on the day.

Arrival Time

Please ensure you arrive at least 1 1/2 hours prior to the published race start time. If by unforseen circumstances you are running late please phone ahead to the Race Director to let them know.

When you arrive

  • Set up table and put out signs
  • Start issuing numbers a.s.a.p.
  • Collect race licence and check for Club and Year, before handing over numbers.
  • Point out where race details and briefing times can be found.
  • Remind riders to pin all four corners of their number & attend race briefing

Close entries

  • Supply the Follow Car drivers with the range of numbers within their group and notify them of any un-issued numbers.
  • Supply the Chief of Race with the total number of riders within each grade.
  • Treasurer to balance entries.
  • During the race
  • Sort out licences
  • Collect numbers and return the licences of DNF riders.
  • During the race if prize money has not been pre-packaged
  • Treasurer to calculate prize money
  • Organize prize money in envelopes
  • Balance the cash sheet
  • Deliver envelopes/ assist in presentation

After the Race

  • Add the winners name and place to the envelopes for presentations
  • Check that all numbers have been returned
  • Notify the Race Director of missing numbers
  • Pack-up table and signs
  • Forward copy of all entry sheets and detailed results to Club Secretary for club aggregate competition and posting of results into papers and web-page.
  • Notify the Race Director before you leave.
