NEWS & EVENTSWhitehorse Cycling Strategy 2016

Over the past year, more than 500 community members helped Whitehorse Council develop the Whitehorse Cycling Strategy 2016.  This assistance has been through attending workshops, completing surveys, speaking to Councillors and Council officers in person and sending in written comments.  More recently, we received 61 submissions when the draft Strategy was placed on public exhibition.  We greatly appreciate your feedback which has helped shape the Cycling Strategy.

The Whitehorse Cycling Strategy 2016 was recently adopted by Council and is now available on our website.  Further details are attached for your information.  Council has already commenced planning and implementing some of the actions and we look forward to having an improved environment for cyclists as well as other road and path users.

Thank you for participating in this project.
